We might soon see Floppy on C9 Blue Valorant. Cloud9 on Twitter have announced that they have parted ways with Skyler “Relyks” Weaver from their Valorant Division on a mutual note.
Relyks who laid the foundation of C9’s Blue Valorant division alongside Tyson ‘TenZ’ Ngo who recently joined Sentinels will no longer feature in the team’s starting five. According to a report from RushBMedia, he might soon be replaced by Ricky “Floppy” Kemery who recently had been a part of the Colossus, a CSGO project which was initially handled and ran by Henry “HenryG” Greer before the initiative was stalled as Cloud9 decided to put their Counter Strike plans on hold. During his time with the team, Skyler recently steered his team to the Challengers 1 event of the Stage 2 Masters along with a plethora of top-three finishes including those at Pop Flash and NSG Monthly: March.
Through a TwitLonger post, he went on to reveal his plans as the former desires to take up streaming which would allow him to stay in his comfort zone. But he also insisted on considering new offers throughout his break and would be keen to compete again if he feels to do it.
If Floppy decides to make his switch to Valorant and join Cloud9, the roster would look like:
- Nathan “leaf” Orf
- Mitch “mitch” Semago
- Michael “poiz” Possis
- Son “xeta” Seon-ho
- Ricky “floppy” Kemery
- Yoon “Autumn” Eu-teum (Head Coach)
- James “JamezIRL” Macaulay (Assistant Coach)
