Prayers of Cypher players have been finally heard by the developers at Riot.
Cypher players who have been waiting for an update can now celebrate, as recent VALORANT leaks imply that there are changes on the horizon for the agent who wields the camera.
Since quite some time ago, Cypher has remained one of the agents that are played the least. His abilities are helpful, but they are not quite as impressive as those of other well-known VALORANT agents working in the sentinel bracket.
Cypher was once the most powerful Sentinel that Valorant had in its arsenal. The Moroccan spy might trip up opponents, scan them with his cameras, and act as a safe pair of eyes before foes arrived.
Since quite some time ago, Cypher has remained one of the agents that are played the least. His abilities are helpful, but they are not quite as impressive as those of other well-known VALORANT agents working in the sentinel bracket.
Although we do not yet know what the changes are, a trustworthy VALORANT leaker has brought to light the significant potential of cypher changes in a recent tweet that was sent on October 17.
The announcement of Cypher’s future was made on Twitter by VALORANTleaksEN, who said “Cypher buff confirmed!” This news definitely brought joy to all of the unhappy sentinel mains who have been waiting for what feels like decades for any Cypher buff.
Cypher is a shadow of his former self as a result of Riot’s gradual draining of his strength and confidence. After a series of setbacks, he was reduced to a level of mediocrity, and other Agents took his place.
However, once Riot officially announced that the long-promised upgrades to Cypher that were supposed to aid the underpowered Sentinel are on their way, he might make a major comeback.
During a recent developer stream, the character designer Alexander Mistakidis stated that there is something that players can look forward to, and that is the fact that they are buffing Cypher. That is going to happen very shortly.
The specific buffs were not elaborated on during the webcast, and the leaks have simply hinted at their existence without providing any value for them. However, gamers can anticipate their introduction on the PBE shortly once Harbor’s Valorant Episode 5 Act 3 is made available to the public.
That did not prevent Mistakidis and his team from joking about what they would be. For example, they joked about a smaller head hitbox for Cypher once he removed his hat, saying something along the lines of, “That’s exactly how I wanted to boost Cypher.” Mistakidis chuckled about it.
It comes after Riot has made some big balancing adjustments to Valorant in recent patches, including an overhaul to flashes in the game to buff and debuff select Agents. Specifically, it comes after Riot has made these modifications.
As soon as Riot makes the whole list of changes to Cypher in Valorant available to the public, we will provide you with an update.
