With Stage 2 of Valorant Champions Tour 2024 just around the corner, NRG has made some significant changes to their Valorant roster by benching Max “Demon1” Mazanov and releasing Jimmy “Marved” Nguyen from the team.
Both players were recent additions to the NRG Valorant lineup, joining the team in early 2024. However, the star-studded roster failed to deliver the desired results in the first half of the season, missing out on both international championships, which may have led to these changes in the team.
As per a recent report from Sheep Esports, the void left by Demon1 and Marved in the NRG Valorant roster is expected to be filled by Sam “s0m” Oh and Pujan “FNS” Mehta. Both s0m and FNS used to be a part of the team’s active roster for Valorant but had taken a hiatus from the pro scene to focus on content creation.
It is important to note that, as of now, NRG has not made any official announcements regarding the return of s0m and FNS. Therefore, this information should be taken with a grain of salt.
With Marved departing the NRG lineup, the current Valorant roster of the organization includes the following players:
- Ethan “Ethan” Arnold
- Austin “crashies” Roberts
- Victor “Victor” Wong
- Max “Demon1” Mazanov (Sub)
- Chet “Chet” Singh (Head coach)
- Tanishq “Tanizhq” Sabharwal (Assistant coach)
- “yeboislays” (Analyst)
- Vladimir “vladk0r” Kornev (Analyst)
