Gods Reign Announces Roster For Valorant Challengers South Asia

Gods Reign, the professional gaming and entertainment company headquartered in Bangalore, Karnataka, has unveiled its playing five roster for the upcoming Valorant Challengers League 2023: South Asia.

The team is preparing to participate in VCL, which is South Asia’s Split tournament, and a stepping stone to the Ascension League, featuring the winners of the ten Challengers Leagues in the Asia-Pacific region vying for a two-year promotion.

VCL South Asia is scheduled to take place from March 18 till April 22, and the competition boasts a total prize pool of $140,000 USD. It’s a great opportunity for players from the international circuit to scale the VCT ladder and secure their teams’ franchising spots at VCT.

God’s Reign has acquired the Australian duo of Nick “tixx” Quinn and Kale “autumn” Dunne to finalize their squad for their journey towards the Ascension League. The Valorant Champions Tour 2023: Pacific Ascension will take place later this year, with 10 teams in contention at the VCL South Asia Championship Split 1, vying to secure the lone spot at the former.

The roster for God’s Reign features Vibhor “Vibhor” Vaid, Garvit “Ember” Nehra, Aman “Hoax” Yadav, Nick “tixx” Quinn, and Kale “autumn” Dunne, with Simar “psy” Sethi as the substitute for the upcoming VCT Challengers. Each player is accomplished in their role within the team and has a track record of success.

Vibhor, the sentinel, is known for his aggressive playstyle, while Hoax uses calculated aggression to set up his duelist. Ember, as a controller, supports his team with his comfort zone of a smoke agent, and Tixx is an aggressive initiator and IGL who prepares strategies for his team. Autumn, on the other hand, is a potent duelist who creates space for the team with his impactful plays.

Having played for teams like Ground Zero Gaming and ORDER, Autumn is expected to come out with his guns blazing, as he was even a part of the VCL Oceania Split 1 2023, where his former team, Honey Badgers, finished in the 3rd place.

Tixx, on the other hand, expresses his excitement to represent Gods Reign in the Challengers League this year, with the confidence that the team’s preparation and improvements will ensure that they can compete regionally as well as internationally against the best teams in Asia.

Gods Reign is among the most watched organizations across platforms in India since 2019, having won numerous tournaments and championships with multiple podium finishes alongside accolades and achievements in many esports titles.

Speaking about the roster and the unveil, Gods Reign CEO KR Rohith adds: “Through our foreknowledge of the community and its players, we have chosen 5 outstanding players each of whom has accomplished in their roles within the team. Our goal is to settle for nothing less than the top position and lead our organisation to the international stage.”
