Youngest Female Radiant Valorant Player Denies Boosting Allegations

Valorant content creator 'VAL_Kaylee' was previously accused of boosting when she proclaimed herself to be the youngest female Radiant in Valorant.

On December 31, 2020, Valorant content creator ‘VAL_Kaylee’ took over the headlines when she announced that she was the youngest female Valorant player to reach the prestigious rank of Radiant in the tactical shooter.

She shared her achievement through her Twitter handle.

The Twitter post managed to garner the attention of Valorant fans worldwide, and she was congratulated by players and professionals alike.

However, these commendations were rather short-lived, as Kay, who’s currently 15-years-old, was accused by many players of partaking in account boosting and cheating to reach her Radiant rank.

For the unaware, ‘Boosting’ in online games refer to the practice where a lower skilled player lets a higher skilled player play in their account, or simply queues with a higher skilled player to gain themselves extra Elo.

Content creators ‘Kaden’ and ‘Reduxx’ posted a 12-minute long video showcasing and explaining evidence on Kay being boosted by cheaters. The video points out a number of aspects about her road to Radiant that seemingly hints towards her being boosted by her party members including a sudden spike in Rank and KDA over the last Act of Episode 1, queuing with specific party members, and some Discord conversations between her friends.

However, soon after the video was put up, Kaylee has come forward and denied all the allegations made against her by Kaden and Redux. Through a series of Tweets, she explained her side of the story, claiming, “I didn’t pay anyone to boost me and didn’t pay a cheater either.”

“I NEVER intended to gain clout off of hitting radiant like i could literally care less i never expected my tweet to blow up and I’m SORRY if it makes anyone feel a certain type of way but at this point idk what to say,” she said in a follow-up Tweet.
