New Agent Recruitment System in Valorant Episode 7 Explained

Valorant Agent Recruitment System Explained: The heavily anticipated Valorant Episode 7 Act 1 update is nearly upon us, bringing a plethora of additions to the competitive shooter including the TDM game mode, custom maps, and a new Agent recruitment system among other things.

As we’ve already taken a look at the detailed rules of the upcoming Team Deathmatch game mode in Valorant, this time, we check out one of the most anticipated features of the Episode 7 update – the revamped Agent Recruitment system.

Valorant’s New Agent Recruitment System

Moving forward, when a new Agent releases in Valorant, players will only have a few weeks to get the Agent from the Event Pass. Each Event Pass will stay active for 28 days, following which players will only be able to get the Agent using Kingdom Points, which is a new form of in-game currency coming to Valorant with the Episode 7 update.

These Kingdom Points can also be used to get various other items, including Agent gear and accessories from previous Battle Passes.

For the uninitiated, players will have the opportunity to earn Kingdom Points by simply playing the game itself. These points will introduce a fresh element of progression in Valorant and will be provided to players in a manner similar to Account Points (AP).

After reaching 10,000 Kingdom Points in Valorant, players will no longer be able to accumulate additional points as they will have reached the cap. In order to earn more Kingdom Points, they must first spend some by purchasing the available rewards. This cap ensures that players cannot indefinitely accumulate points until their desired items appear in the rotating store.

As you unlock the Agents in Valorant, you’ll also have the option to get their Agent gear using Kingdom Points. This works in a  similar way to how Agent Contracts work currently.
