Breeze Removed From Map Rotation at VCT Masters Reykjavik

It hasn’t been long since the new map Breeze was introduced to Valorant, but fans have already started to show their love for the map, praising it across social media for its unique design alongside its gorgeous visuals.

However, it appears like the Valorant player base won’t be able to see Breeze in competitive play anytime soon since Riot has confirmed that the map has been taken out of the rotation for VCT Stage 2 Masters Reykjavik.

“Considering the overlap with Challenger Playoffs and travel to Iceland, 4 weeks is not enough time to practice a new map,” the official VCT Twitter handle posted.

Valorant Map Breeze was added to the competitive shooter alongside the Act 3 update that was shipped on April 27th. As promised earlier by the devs, the map features:

  • Long Range engagements
  • Large open spaces
  • Wide choke points
  • Important territory control

The highly anticipated Valorant Champions Tour Stage 2 Masters is scheduled to start from May 24th and come to an end on May 30th.
