Riot Games have announced the Red Bull Campus Clutch in partnership with the leading energy drink brand featuring a prize pool of $25,000 USD up for grabs. In addition, the champion’s university will also stand a chance to redeem the perks of a gaming facility post their win.
The Red Bull Campus Clutch tournament brings over more than 300 universities from across 50+ countries. Universities? Yes, you heard it right. This tournament has been exclusively scheduled for the First-person tactical shooters, those who are still pursuing their careers at the university level.
Players from the participating universities across the world will have to make their way through three stages:
- The Qualifiers
- National Finals
- World Finals
The World Finals will feature the team winning their matches on the National level from where they would go on to compete against teams in a global showdown. As mentioned above, a hefty sum of $25k USD awaits the champions and the winning team’s university will stand a chance to get a gaming facility in their very own campus.
The Qualifiers for the Red Bull Campus Clutch tournament will be operational from February until the 23rd of May. Every country will have its own Qualifier schedule.
