Redbull announced their Home Ground eSport tournament which will start with a Valorant Invitational tournament. The quarter-finals will begin starting January 28 until 31st where the teams will be competing for a prize pool of $29,000.
To make things interesting, teams will be able to choose the maps they prefer which will be featured permanently throughout the event. Red Bull refers to this concept as ‘home ground’. Europe’s best Valorant teams have been invited to partake in this tournament and winners from the Open Qualifier will be joining them in the final event.
Red Bull announced two new surprise teams that will be joining the six teams who are already set to play in the tournament. FrenzyGoKill and Monkey Business will be joining Ninjas in Pyjamas, Futbolist, G2 Esports, Team Liquid, Guild eSports, and SUMN FC.
Fans can watch the tournament live on Twitch where Red Bull will be streaming the evening at 11:30 GMT (03:30 PT)
