With Stage 1 of Valorant Game Changers 2025 currently underway, Riot Games has revealed some major changes to the slot allocation for its final championship.
As confirmed by the Valorant devs in a recent blog post, the Game Changers Championship will see the entirety of Brazil, North America, and LATAM being grouped into a single Americas region.
As a result, the slot allocation for the 2025 GC Championship has also been changed.

Moving forward, the Americas region will have four slots in the event, while China will receive one, the Pacific region two, and EMEA three. The total number of slots in the tournament remains unchanged.
Three out of the four teams in the Americas will be decided by regional leagues across North America, Brazil, and LATAM. A new Game Changers Americas Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) will decide the final team heading to the championship.
The Game Changers Americas LCQ will be held at Riot Games’ São Paulo studio, featuring a two-day LAN showdown between the second-place teams from the three aforementioned regions. The competition will kick off with a single round-robin stage on day one, where each team faces the others. The top two teams will then have to battle it out in a best-of-five grand final to secure the last remaining spot at the Game Changers Championship.
Further details regarding the Valorant Game Changers Championship 2025 event are yet to be revealed.
