The former XSET player joins the ranks of Sentinels for the VCT Americas League to be played out in Brazil.
As reported by DotEsports, Sentinels have added another former XSET member to their 2023 roster in the form of Rory “dephh” Jackson. The roster is now complete as Sentinels earlier signed Gustavo ‘Sacy’ Rossi and Bryan ‘pANcada’ Luna from LOUD on October 15 previously followed by the signing of Zachary “zekken” Patrone.
Rory “Dephh” Jackson, former XSET in-game leader, and Zachary “zekken” Patrone, have both boarded the Sentinels. The pair completes the picture for the organization in preparation for the beginning of the VCT season in the following year, which will take place in February.
The organization is yet to make an announcement regarding the roles that each player on the squad will take up for the upcoming year, but it is reasonable to assume that dephh will be in charge of the In-game leader role.
The contribution Dephh made to the success of XSET, which was one of the most dominant teams in North America during the previous VALORANT season, cannot be overstated. XSET was able to earn a spot in the Champions event by defeating competitors such as Fnatic and FunPlus Phoenix during the competition.
Sentinels were earlier confirmed to have booked themselves a spot at the VCT Americas League alongside other North American teams like Cloud9 and Evil Geniuses.
The VCT Americas League starts in February 2023 and will feature all thirty of the partnered teams from throughout EMEA, the Americas, and Asia. Sentinels are scheduled to compete in this event. Brazil’s Sao Paulo will play host to the competition that lasts for three weeks.
With dephh on board, Sentinels now are :
Tyson “TenZ” Ngo
Michael “shroud” Grzesiek
Zachary “zekken” Patrone
Gustavo “Sacy” Rossi
Bryan “pANcada” Luna
Rory “dephh” Jackson
