North American Organization NRG Esports on their Twitter have confirmed the addition of Ryan “Shanks” Ngo to the NRG Valorant roster.
Earlie in November, NRG parted ways with Loic “effys” Sauvageau followed by the benching of Yannick “KOLER” Blanchette in a bid to inculcate some changes within the team. Before getting picked by Damian “daps” Steele’s side, he was trialled by Team Dignitas where he helped them finish 4th at the B Site managed Pop Flash Ignition series.
But things didn’t seem to work out between him and the organization as he was let go. Later on, Immortals brought him as a stand-in to assist the team through the Qualifiers of the First Strike where they beat Luminosity Gaming to book a spot at the same.
Though Immortals met a bizarre fate at the First Strike’s Quarterfinals, Shanks did prove his worth during his entire time on the team.
With this addition, Ryan will be the 4th part of NRG’s puzzle as the latter still looks for their 5th player.
