Team SoloMid have announced the addition of Braxton ‘Swag’ Pierce to their Valorant division.
Swag will be back in action after spending nearly 2 months of inactivity.
Braxton who was signed by Korean-American organization T1 in March 2020 was the first-ever player, recruited by a team for their Valorant division with the game still being in its beta phase. In February 2021, the 24-year-old was released alongside Keven ‘AZK’ Larivière by T1 in an aftermath of the team’s poor showings eventually making way for Timothy ‘Autimatic’ Ta and Rahul ‘Curry’ Nemani to the active lineup.
Today North American side TSM have decided to expand their Valorant roster to a six-man gamble as they have completed the acquisition of Swag from his free agency and would field him for their future events. Known for his mechanical aim in Valorant and Valve’s flagship Counter Strike, Swag may help TSM to unlock their winning potential to the maximum as the former seeks redemption to showcase his firepower which he was unable to convert at T1 despite being the team’s original player. For now, it’s unsure whether TSM would bench someone to make way for Swag to their active squad or using him on a rotation for specific maps while playing competing in their officials.
TSM Valorant are now:
- Braxton ‘Swag’ Pierce
- Stephen ‘reltuC’ Cutler
- James ‘hazed’ Cobb
- Matthew ‘Wardell’ Yu
- Yassine ‘Subroza’ Taoufik
- Taylor ‘drone’ Johnson
Taylor ‘Tailored’ Broomall (Head Coach)
