Valorant Streamer PROD Gets Banned From Twitch For Alleged Homophobic Slur

Popular Valorant streamer and content creator PROD has received a suspension from Twitch for allegedly saying homophobic words while streaming on the platform.

While Twitch streamers getting banned saying offensive terms are not a new thing, it might not be the case here as fans of PROD are claiming that his words have been misinterpreted by Twitch. At the time of receiving the ban, PROD was live in front of about 10,000 viewers.

In the clip that has spread like wildfire on the internet, PROD can be allegedly seen muttering the words “faggot,’ whereas fans of the star claim that he had said “fu*k it” instead.

“I’m ngl this twitch fan shit is so fu*king cringe,” he commented on his ban through a Tweet July 24.

Over the past few months, PROD has skyrocketed in terms of popularity and has earned fans from throughout the globe due to his unique playstyle and fast-paced gameplay.

As many viewers claim that the error was on Twitch’s part, whether or not he gets unbanned from Twitch still remains to be seen.

Fellow Twitch streamer Shanks, who’s also a Valorant player, got banned for a similar reason the day before but was unbanned shortly afterward as his ban was unjust.
