The highly anticipated Episode 2 of Valorant is just a few days away, and fans are more hyped than ever. The second episode is expected to bring a plethora of new changes to the tactical shooter including a new agent, balance updates, cosmetics, and more.

Let’s take a look at the known changes that Episode 2 will bring to the table.

Valorant Episode 2 Release Date

Episode 2 of Valorant is expected to hit the live servers on January 12th, as officially confirmed by Riot Games themselves.

The upcoming stealth agent Yoru is a native Japanese who can “create gaps, in reality, itself to sneak into enemy territory unnoticed.”

The abilities of this agent have already been revealed.

Omen Nerf

After dominating the competitive meta for quite a while, it seems like Omen is about to receive some serious nerfs.

These nerfs are expected to hit two of his abilities:

Dark Cover: Smoke speed reduced by 30% from 4000>2800

Paranoia: Price increased from $200 to $400.

Brimstone Buff

Brimstone has undoubtedly been one of the most underwhelming agents in Valorant as of late. Not only are his win-rates quite low compared to other Valorant controllers, but his pick rate in the professional scene has also taken a drastic hit over the last few months.

Luckily, the beret-wearing agent is expected to receive a number of buffs in the next update. These buffs include:

Sky Smoke: Smoke cast range increased from 4200>5000 units. Smoke duration increased from 14.25 seconds to 19.25 seconds.

Incendiary: Price reduced from $300 to $200.

Stim Beacon: Equip time removed, will quickcast from now.
