The Valorant 8.10 update is here, and while it doesn’t bring any major changes to the shooter, it has introduced a revamped Welcome Contract designed to help new players learn the ropes after installing the game.
The Valorant Basic Training event is exclusively for new players. They’ll immediately be greeted with the event screen after launching the game and they can choose to do different tasks to earn themselves various in-game rewards including Player Cards, Sprays, Gun Buddies, and more.
Veteran players who have already completed the Welcome Contract of Valorant won’t be able to participate in the new Basic Training event. However, Riot devs have confirmed that the rewards for the new event will be the same as those from the old Welcome Contract.
The Valorant Basic Training event will have five categories for players to complete – ‘Intro’, ‘Combat’, ‘Practice’, ‘Combat+’, and ‘Win’. Finishing each category will net you the aforementioned rewards.
That’s everything you need to know about the new Welcome Contract and Basic Training Event in Valorant.
