As much as fans are enthusiastic about Valorant Champions 2022, they’ve been waiting for the skin bundle to be announced. Riot has ended the wait and provided information about the Champions 2022 skin line, including its price, the skins that will be available, and other relevant details.
The Valorant Champions 2022 Bundle is scheduled to be released on August 23rd, immediately following the departure of the Reaver 2.0 Bundle from the shop.
Valorant Champions 2022 Bundle Skins
Valorant Champions bundle 2022 will include the following Weapon:
- Champions 2022 Phantom
- Champions 2022 Butterfly Knife Melee
- Champions 2022 Gun Buddy
- Champions 2022 Player Card
- Champions 2022 Spray
Riot has also announced that it will donate fifty percent of the collection’s net earnings from the 23rd of August through the 21st of September to the teams that are competing in the Champions tournament.
Riot Games’ Laura Baltzer said, “When developing Champions 2022 weaponry, we wanted to give players a skin with the same sense as last year: something aspirational and flamboyant that let you flex and show off your ability in ranked or on the VCT broadcast. We tweaked many of the popular Champions 2021 weaponry to do so.”
Phantom and Butterfly Knife will get a custom model modification and two new features as part of the Champion’s Aura, including a visual effect that evolves every 5 kills (maxing out at 25 kills) and an easter egg on the butterfly knife that triggers if you’re top fragging and have at least 25 kills.

Champions 2022 Butterfly Knife (Melee)
- Level 1 – Custom Champions 2022 model design
- Level 2 – Custom gold VFX swipes, butterfly knife animations and looping animation
- Level 3 – This level contains the “Champion’s Aura,” which has 3 features:
- The butterfly knife has a gold glowing outline when the player has the most kills in the game (no ties)
- Every 5 kills, the blade’s design “evolves” and red crystal shards incrementally fill the blade, maxing out at 25 kills
- When the player has 25 kills as well as the most kills in the game, they have a custom inspect animation that embodies what it means to be a champion
Champions 2022 Phantom
- Level 1 – Custom Champions 2022 model design; Champions 2022 logo design; glowing red bullets; custom ADS reticle
- Level 2 – Custom red muzzle flash in the shape of the VCT Spark logo; during inspect, the Champion’s 2022 anthem plays with a custom inspect animation; custom firing audio; when the player gets a kill, there is an on-kill effect which makes the Champions 2022 logo glow
- Level 3 – Finisher and Kill Banner
- Level 4 – This level contains the “Champion’s Aura,” which has 2 features:
- The Phantom has a gold glowing outline when the player has the most kills in the game (no ties)
- Every 5 kills, the gun’s design “evolves” and red crystal shards incrementally fill the rifle, maxing out at 25 kills
On August 31st, the first match of Valorant Champions will take place, and you will be able to witness it live on YouTube and Twitch, as well as in-person at the VW Arena in Istanbul, Turkey.
The location of the Valorant Champions 2022 tournament has not been disclosed just yet, but Riot will make the announcement very soon, and we will keep you updated with any new information as soon as it becomes available.
“With this progressive effect, the skin evolves based on your success throughout the whole match,” Jevremovic says. “The player may not get to see their skin fully in every single game, but when they do, it will feel that much more satisfying.”

It will cost 6265 VP, which is equivalent to approximately $60; however, the price may vary somewhat from area to region.
