Being one of the most popular competitive shooters on the internet currently, Valorant continues to draw in new players with each passing day. As a result of the growing popularity of Valorant over the past few years, Riot Games decided to bring their flagship FPS title to consoles with the open beta kicking off in August 2024.
At the time of writing, the console version of Valorant can be played on the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X|S. However, since the game’s release, many Valorant players have been wondering whether they will be able to play the game with their friends across the two platforms.
If you’re here to know more about whether Valorant Console supports crossplay between PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, we have you covered.
Valorant Console Crossplay Support
Yes, Valorant Console supports crossplay between PlayStation 5 and Xbox. If you’re playing Valorant Console on the PS5, then you’ll be able to play with your friends on the Xbox Series X|S and vice versa.
However, note that Valorant does not support crossplay between PC and consoles. The PC version of Valorant has a completely separate player pool who are unable to play with the console players.
This does not mean that you need separate accounts to play the PC and console versions. Valorant has a cross-link feature that players can use to link their PC accounts with the console version of the game.
