Players who have access to the Valorant console closed beta can now tune in to the title’s Competitive game mode.
The ranked game mode in the Valorant console went live with the shooter’s recent Episode 9 Act 1 update. Alongside bringing the competitive mode to Valorant, the 9.0 update also brought with it a bunch of other changes that players can check by taking a look at the official patch notes.
Valorant Console Ranked Mode is Live
Unlike the Unrated game mode in Valorant, the ranked mode adds a competitive edge by assigning skill ratings to each player. Winning ranked matches and outperforming others will raise your rank over time, while losses will cause it to decrease.
Regions participating in the limited beta of the Valorant console can anticipate the Competitive mode to launch at the following estimated times:
- NA: 8:30 AM PT
- JP: 4:30 PM PT
- EU: 10:30 PM PT
With the addition of Competitive mode, the game modes in the Valorant console beta now include Unrated, Swiftplay, Competitive, Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, and Custom Games.
