But as one chapter closes, another begins—Episode 10 Act 1 is right around the corner, and it’s set to bring with it a host of exciting new content to keep the action alive.
While Riot Games has yet to release the detailed patch notes for the upcoming Valorant 10.0 update, plenty of leaks and teasers have surfaced online over the past few months, giving us a decent idea of what the devs have in store for us.

Valorant Episode 10 Act 1 Release Date
Before we check out the changes that the devs have planned for Valorant Episode 10 Act 1, it’s important to know when the update will hit the live servers of the shooter.
Based on the current update schedule of Valorant, it’s safe to say that players will be able to tune into the new update around January 7, 2024. The end date for the Episode 9 Act 3 Battle Pass also coincides with this date.
Valorant Episode 10 Act 1: All Changes We Know So Far
From a new Agent and changes to the map pool to a fresh Battle Pass and an exciting skin bundle, there’s plenty to look forward to in the Valorant Episode 10 Act 1 update.
Details about the new Agent and his kit are still scarce, but we do know that he is from Colombia, as suggested by a teaser from Riot Games.
The Valorant 10.0 patch also changes the competitive map pool of the game. As already confirmed by the Valorant devs on the game’s official X (formerly Twitter) handle, Ascent, and Sunset are getting removed from the rotation as Fracture and Lotus make their way back in.
Valorant Episode 10 Act 1 will also introduce a new Battle Pass for players to grind, along with a fresh skin line—both of which are yet to be revealed.
