Valorant Episode 2 Act 2: All You Need To Know

With Act 2 of Riot’s competitive shooter Valorant nearing its release, fans are getting more and more excited to know what awaits them in the upcoming major update. While the full patch notes of Act 2 haven’t been revealed by the developers as of yet, we do have an idea on what players can expect.

Valorant Episode 2 Act 2 Release Date

Valorant Episode 2 Act 1 went live on 12th January, 2021, and the Act 1 Battle Pass will come to an end on March 1st. So, unless there’s an extension, chances are that Episode 2 Act 2 will start March 2nd.

Valorant Episode 2 Act 2: What to Expect

Riot Games have already revealed some of their plans for the upcoming Episode through a blog post yesterday.

For starters, the developers have stated that Yoru might be receiving some buffs in the next update, while Viper won’t be getting any changes soon.

However, what fans are looking forward to the most is perhaps a new agent.

New Valorant Agent

Good news for fans of the Controller role in Valorant, since Riot has confirmed that the next agent is gonna be a Controller. However, unlike other Controllers already present in the shooter, the next agent is set to be a “cosmic shift from the play patterns you’ve grown accustomed to.”

According to the blog post, the agent is dedicated to all the “galaxy brain” players of the community who “like to study everything that happens on a map.”

No further hints have been left by the developers on what the abilities of this new agent might be.

New Valorant Map

Players are yet to receive any new Valorant map since the release of Icebox on October 13th. Considering it has already been over 4 months since the event, there’s a high possibility that we might be getting a new Valorant map in Episode 2 Act 2.

However, no new map for Valorant has been confirmed by Riot as of yet.
