Valorant Episode 7 Progression System: All You Need To Know

Riot Games has just dropped a new dev diary for their tactical shooter Valorant, and it contains a plethora of exciting information about the title’s upcoming Episode 7 update. In a recent video posted on the official Riot Games YouTube handle, fans can get a sneak peek at two new Agents coming to the game this year alongside a new game mode, a revamped progression system, and more.

While the new Agents and the Team Deathmatch game mode are certainly exciting additions to Valorant, what fans of the title are truly enthusiastic about is the revamped progression system that Episode 7 will bring to the game. This system will introduce a fresh and immersive way to earn in-game rewards through a new form of currency.

Currently, Valorant features only two in-game currencies – Valorant Points (VP) and Radianite Points (RP), with the former being exclusively obtainable through real money transactions.

However, Episode 7 aims to enhance the player experience by introducing an additional currency that can be earned through various in-game activities. This new currency will offer players the opportunity to unlock a wider range of rewards, expanding the possibilities for personalization and progression within the game.

While the finer details and the name of this new currency has not yet been revealed by the developers, we do know that players will be able to get accessories and other items from previous Battle Passes that they might have missed out on. On top of that, there’s also a possibility of exclusive skins that can only be purchased using this new currency, but take this with a grain of salt.
