Valorant First Strike Brazil will be a LAN event

Amid the coronavirus pandemic, the news comes as a pleasant delight to Valorant fans.

It appears like the Regional Finals of Valorant First Strike in Brazil will be held on LAN despite the current situation involving the COVID-19 pandemic. According to Brazilian League of Legends caster Guilherme “Tixinhadois” Cheida, the main event of Valorant First Strike, which is scheduled to take place from December 3-6, will be held on LAN at Riot Games Brazil studios.

The caster claims that he has “first-hand news” regarding this information.

He further mentions that the event will ensure the same precautions and protocols that were used in the CBLOL finals.

The tweet, when translated from Portugese, roughly stands as, “The #FirstStrike Main Event @VALORANTBrasil December 3-6 will be PRESENTIAL at Riot Games Brasil studios. Riot will use the entire prevention protocol that was also used in the CBLOL finals! Soon the announcement must be made”

Soon after the tweet was made, a clarification was made from Riot’s side through the official Twitter account of Valorant Brasil.

“If the boss spoke, it is spoken! Fire,” Riot said. “We will have the VALORANT First Strike in LAN, straight from the Riot studios in São Paulo!”

Valorant First Strike is set to be the first major tournament for the tactical shooter organized by Riot Games themselves. The tournament will crown regional champions across the world in the regions of North America, Europe, CIS, Turkey, Korea, Japan, Asia Pacific, Oceania, Latin America, Middle East, and North Africa.
