Valorant Gekko: Riot Games, the developers of Valorant, have announced that they will be introducing three new agents in 2023, with the first one expected to arrive during Episode 6, Act 2. While there is limited information available on the new agents, data miners have speculated that the first agent may be called Gekko.
This new agent is highly anticipated by the Valorant community as Riot Games aims to address the failure they experienced with their previous release, Harbor.
Previously, we’ve seen Riot confirming that the three new agents will be of the Initiator, Sentinel, and an unknown category. As such, players are speculating about the potential abilities of Agent 22, with hopes that they will shake up the current meta.
While the teaser trailer hints at the new agent being of Spanish or Latin descent, no information has been released that can confirm this.

The official Riot Games Twitter handle has announced that the upcoming Valorant Agent will be revealed on the last day of the ongoing VCT LOCK//IN tournament. Fans are eagerly anticipating the showmatch before the grand finals of the event to be able to get the first looks at Gekko. One player from each team involved in the match will have the opportunity to select the new Valorant Agent.
