Over the past few years, Valorant has cemented its position as one of the biggest competitive shooters in the world, offering an intense FPS experience to players across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Now, Riot Games is looking to expand the reach of its flagship shooter to handheld devices with Valorant Mobile.
The adaptation of Valorant for mobile devices isn’t exactly new news. In fact, Riot Games officially confirmed back in 2021 that they were working on Valorant Mobile. However, since then, development updates on the title have been rather limited.
As a result, speculations have been running rampant within the Valorant community regarding the release of Valorant Mobile.
Valorant Mobile Release Date
At the time of writing, Riot Games has not provided an official release date for Valorant Mobile.
The earliest expected launch for the mobile port is late 2025, though Riot will likely host a beta phase before the full release.
Valorant Mobile Leaks
Over the years, a number of prominent leaks about Valorant Mobile have surfaced on the internet, hinting at gameplay mechanics, potential release timelines, and beta testing phases for the upcoming title. We’ve also seen several leaks showcasing the actual gameplay footage of Valorant Mobile alongside some of its unique features.
According to a September 2024 leak, Valorant Mobile is likely to get a replay system ahead of its PC and Console counterparts. From the initial looks at it, the Valorant Mobile replay system will let you view your past games while also displaying the detailed stats & KDA for all players.
Additionally, Valorant Mobile will also get an advanced training mode that will let players practice their jump peeks, jiggle peeks, and more.
Valorant Mobile Beta
As we had already reported earlier, the first stages of Valorant Mobile’s closed beta testing have already commenced in China, but fans are still awaiting details on a global beta release.
Last year, we saw Riot Games releasing the console version of Valorant in June following a month and a half of beta testing.
If the developers are targeting a late 2025 global release for Valorant Mobile, players can likely expect a beta phase to roll out in the coming months.
