Valorant Neon: Abilities and More

Get ready because she can go extremely fast.

Riot Games has finally unveiled their brand new Valorant agent Neon, and fans are more excited than ever to know more about what the new Valorant agent will bring to the table. If you’re looking to learn the agent’s kit, release date, and more, we have you covered. Here’s everything you need to know about Valorant agent 19, Neon.

From the initial looks at Neon in the official gameplay trailer released by Riot, it’s clear that players holding tight angles will no longer feel safe doing so once she is introduced to the live servers. Equipped with an agile skill set that enables her to isolate enemies or take over sites swiftly, she’s certain to wreak havoc both in the Attacking and Defending sides of the battlefield.

With the word, “Agile” being used, the agent from the Philippines is known to surge forward at shocking speeds, discharging bursts of bioelectric radiance as fast as her body generates it enabling her to race ahead to catch enemies off guard which would further strike them down quicker than lightning.

Let us take a look at her ability pool and how lethal could she prove to be once added in the ranks of other agents in Valorant.

Valorant Neon Abilities:

  • HIGH GEAR (E): INSTANTLY channel Neon’s power for increased speed. When charged, ALT FIRE to trigger an electric slide. Slide charge resets every two kills.
  • RELAY BOLT (Q): INSTANTLY throw an energy bolt that bounces once. Upon hitting each surface, the bolt electrifies the ground below with a concussive blast.
  • FAST LANE (C): FIRE two energy lines forward on the ground that extend a short distance or until they hit a surface. The lines rise into walls of static electricity that block vision and damage enemies passing through them.
  • OVERDRIVE (X): Unleash Neon’s full power and speed for a short duration. FIRE to channel the power into a deadly lightning beam with high movement accuracy. The duration resets on each kill.

Neon was first teased during the opening ceremony for the VCT Champions Finals. The small clip showed us a silhouette made of strings of numbers and letters, while a woman’s voice, which is presumed to be that of Neon, echoes in the background.

All we could decrypt is that Neon is from the Philippines as a previous blog post from Valorant encased a note for the community, greeted in the Filipino language, “Mga kaibigan ko” which is “My Friends” in English and concludes saying “Maraming Salamat!” which means “Thanks a lot!”

Valorant Neon Release Date:

Neon is set to arrive into the game as a part of the Episode 4 Act 1 update that’s scheduled to release on January 10, 2022.
