Recently, Riot Games announced the expansion of Valorant into consoles. While the official release of the Valorant console is still a little way down the road, fans of the competitive shooter are already able to tune into the game via the limited beta program that’s currently ongoing.
We have previously talked about how interested players can opt into the Valorant console closed beta, but many fans are wondering which devices the game is available on.
In this article, we’ll be taking a look at one of the most common questions that Valorant fans on consoles have been asking: “Can you play Valorant on Xbox One?”
Is Valorant Playable on Xbox One?
At the time of writing, the limited beta of the Valorant console is only available to play on two devices: Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. Taking a glance at the official Valorant console website also reveals that players need to own one of the two aforementioned devices to be able to play the game.
Unfortunately, this means you can’t play Valorant on Xbox One. However, note that this is only the closed beta phase of the game, and the device requirements for the Valorant console might change at a future date.
