Valorant Patch 5.04: What’s New?

The customization options for the player crosshair are the primary focus of Valorant patch 5.04's changes.

Players that have access to the Public Beta Environment (PBE) are already aware of what the impending 5.04 patch will bring. The patch will solve both large and minor bugs that have been affecting the game for a considerable amount of time. Confirmed updates to the kits of numerous different agents will be included.

In conjunction with today’s release of VALORANT’s Episode Five, Act Two, the most recent Patch 5.04 will also be applied. This patch will bring both new enhancements to the game as well as brand new content that players will be able to take advantage of going forward.

The primary emphasis of patch 5.04 is on the player crosshair settings. Players from all over the world may now make use of additional crosshair features, which will help them enhance their gaming and skills.

This includes the ability to separately modify the horizontal and vertical crosshair lines, as well as the setting of a custom crosshair color for a greater variety of options. In addition, the number of crosshair profiles has been increased from 10 to 15, giving players more opportunities to experiment with different crosshair configurations.

The addition of the capability for spectators to mimic the crosshair settings of the player they are spectating is another reason for spectators to celebrate.

The “myths and legends” theme will serve as the inspiration for the design of the battle pass. The combat pass, in the words of Riot Games developer Laura Baltzer, was something that was inspired by “various cultures and stories.”

The Piedra del Sol skin line, which is inspired by Aztec art and mythology, is one of the new weapon skins that players may receive by grinding the premium edition of the battle pass, which is still priced at 1,000 VP or $9.99. Players can get this skin line by earning battle points.

In addition, there will be made accessible to participants a brand new free event pass that is specifically geared around celebrating Champions 2022. The standard restart of the competition will, of course, take place as well.
