The long wait of the Indian Valorant fans is finally over, as Riot has shipped a new update to their competitive shooter that allows players to buy Valorant Points using Paytm.
For the unaware, Paytm is an Indian e-commerce payment system that’s prevalent across the South Asian country as one of the most popular virtual payment methods. Till now, Indians had no option to buy Valorant Points using domestic methods, and had to resort to other services like PayPal for in-game transactions.
From now on, Indian players can simply click on the Valorant Points icon towards the top-right of the main menu next to the ‘Store’ tab and select ‘Paytm’ to buy themselves some VP.
Here are the rates of Valorant Points in India:
- 475 Points – 399 Rs
- 1000 Points – 799 Rs
- 2050 Points – 1599 Rs
- 3650 Point – 2699 Rs
- 5350 Points – 3999 Rs
- 11000 Points – 7900 Rs
Valorant Points can be used in-game for a variety of purposes. You can buy yourself some nice weapon skins, purchase the Act 3 Battle Pass, or even unlock all your favourite agents using VP.
If you’re unwilling to spend any real money in Valorant, don’t worry. Anything purchased using VP are entirely for cosmetic purposes, with the exception of Agents. Then again, the agents that can be unlocked by VP can also be obtained by reaching their level 5 contract completely free of cost.
