The competitive game mode for Valorant is down globally, which means that you’ll be unable to play ranked before the maintenance concludes.
As officially confirmed by Riot Games, the Valorant competitive game mode is scheduled to go down on July 30th, 6 am PT, “to prepare for the future of competitive in VALORANT.”
For the PC version of the game, the servers are expected to be back up and running only an hour later, and fans will be able to enjoy ranked Valorant once again from 7 am PT.
Don’t worry, the Valorant servers will not be taken down entirely, and you’ll be able to enjoy the various other game modes like Unrated, Swiftplay, or Team Deathmatch.
For the console version of Valorant, the ranked queue won’t be back up until a few days later.
“Based on our learnings in beta, we’ll be resetting ranks and disabling competitive queue,” Riot Games said in a statement. “We estimate Comp to be back live by Aug 2 around 9 AM PT.”
