Valorant: Sentinels’ SicK arrested; Here’s Why

According to a report by DotEsports, Hunter “SicK” Mims of Sentinels Valorant was earlier taken into custody. So far, there has been no official word regarding the 24-year-old’s release. Mims is being held on $5000 USD bond after being charged with a Class B misdemeanor as he is currently being detained in Dallas, Texas at the Collin County Jail.

The Law Office of Andrew Williams estimates that he could spend up to 180 days in jail or pay a $2,000 fine.

After his tweet about a confrontation at a Ferrari dealership, Mims was eventually taken into custody by local law enforcement officers. According to the report surfaced by Dot, Mims remained at the dealership yet after being asked to leave the premises. He too added that the cops were summoned upon Mims calling the place to be “disrespectful”.

Lately, Mims has been suffering from some private issues as his family and other close friends have all reached out to him about the same. His ex-teammate Shahzeb “ShahZam” Khan publicly called him out to return his calls.

Mims has a history of struggling with issues related to his mental health. Mims’s health declined last May, making it impossible for him to compete with Sentinels which was then drafted by Sentinels’ Head Coach Rawkus into the team’s roster.

Later that same month of June, Mims announced on his Twitch channel that he was once again ready to compete. After the roster shake-up last year, Sentinels announced that Mims would continue at Sentinels as a substitute.

The tweet in question was one in which SicK shared a video from a Ferrari dealer, and it was this tweet that led to his arrest. The clip has allegedly been taken down by one party or maybe by Twitter to avoid things going south.

Starting for Sentinels Valorant, he earned the team its first major international victory at VCT Stage 2 Masters Reykjavik 2021. Throughout 2021, the Sentinels were widely considered the best team in the world after they swept all six tournaments they entered.
