The roster of Agents in Valorant is expanding once again, and the latest addition, Tejo, is already garnering hype within the community thanks to the number of teasers that Riot Games has posted on its social media.
For the uninitiated, Tejo is the 27th Agent in Valorant that’s set to be introduced to the shooter in the near future. While the devs have yet to make an official announcement on the new Agent, we have seen plenty of leaks surface on the internet over the past few weeks to get a solid glimpse at what Tejo will bring to the game.

Valorant Tejo Release Date
Tejo is expected to be added to the Valorant roster with the upcoming Episode 10 Act 1 update.
Taking a glance at the current Battle Pass of the game, it’s safe to say that the Valorant 10.0 update will hit the live servers around January 7, 2025.
Valorant Tejo Abilities
Unfortunately, the abilities of Tejo still remain shrouded in mystery at the time of writing. However, according to a leak from prominent Valorant dataminer ‘ValorLeaks’, Tejo will be an Initiator.
If the leak proves accurate, Tejo will join the Valorant roster as the seventh Initiator alongside Sova, Breach, Skye, KAY/O, Fade, and Gekko.
Where is Tejo From in Valorant?
Based on the teasers we have seen so far, it’s likely that Tejo hails from the country of Colombia, aligning with earlier leaks that hinted at his origins.
Furthermore, one of Tejo’s teasers features the phrase “¿quiubo, VALORANT?,” which translates to “What’s up, VALORANT?” in Spanish—the official language of Colombia.
