This Yoru Buff From Valorant Patch 2.06 Was Undiscovered Till Today

Since its initial release on January 12th, Yoru has been the only Valorant agent that experienced a pick rate lower than Viper in the higher ranks.

According to a good portion of the Valorant player base, it’s one of the least effective agents in the entire game, with skills that fall short in several aspects when compared to other agents in the tactical shooter.

Luckily, Riot Games decided to buff the Valorant duelist ‘Yoru’ in their last update. Valorant patch 2.06 saw Yoru receiving buffs to three of his abilities, increasing his overall effectiveness by quite a margin.

This was undoubtedly good news for Yoru fans. And now, it seems like some further good news awaits them.

Yoru had received another buff that went completely unnoticed by the players since it wasn’t included in the patch notes.

Through a Tweet today, Valorant developer Rycou informed fans that they had decreased the time it takes to unequip out of Dimensional Drift from 1.0 to 0.6 seconds, a change that wasn’t originally included in the patch notes.

Hopefully, these changes combined will be able to increase the pick rate of Yoru by a bit and make the Japanese agent more viable in higher ranks.
