Reckoning Esports took their sweet revenge on Aster Army after losing to them twice in Split 1 of VCL by defeating them 2-0 to become the second finalist of VCL Split 2.

Map Veto and Selection
Reckoning banned Split and Aster banned Lotus. Pearl and Bind were picked, banning Ascent and Haven Fracture remained as the last map.
Match Recap
AA won the pistol on Pearl along with the anti-eco round. They lost the bonus round along with the next round to equalize the score at 2-2. Marzil clutched a 1 vs 2 in round 8 to lead 5-3. After leading 6-3, AA threw the advantage as RGE equalized the half score at 6-6.
AA won the second pistol along with the anti-eco round but then lost 3 rounds in a row. After the score was 11-9 in AA’s favor, Round 21 saw a 3v5 throw. Round 24 saw an almost 1v4 clutch by Doxzer, but the time ran out, pushing the map onto overtime.
RGE came back and won 16-14 on their map pick.
Bind started by pistol being won by RGE with Flabben getting a triple kill alongside the anti-eco round. They lost the bonus round and Round 4 saw a 1v2 clutch by Hvoya. Round 8 saw a 1v2 clutch by Doxzer to bring the score to 4-4. The half again went at 6-6.
RGE won the pistol round as well as the anti-eco round. They lost the bonus round as well as the next round to equalize the score at 8-8. RGE won three rounds in a row to lead 11-8 but lost Round 21 as Marzil got a triple kill. RGE closed the map at 13-11 to defeat AA on their map pick and qualify for the Grand Finals.
Flabben was the MVP with a KDA of 51/ 27/ 17 on two maps.
Reckoning Esports will now face Orangutan in the Grand Finals of VCL Split 2 on 10th June 2023 at 5 PM.
