VCT Ascension Pacific 2023 is a major tier 2 event for Valorant in the Pacific region. The participating teams embarked on their journey at the inception of the VCT 2023 season. The victorious team from this tournament will join the league of the 10 partnered teams in the VCT Pacific League.

The tournament employs Valorant’s 6.11 patch, which introduced changes to Pearl’s B site and nerfed Viper. With 10 teams split evenly into two groups, each team competes in a single round-robin, with the group stage matches being best-of-threes. The top three teams from each group will then proceed to the next round — a single elimination playoff bracket.
Teams demonstrating the best performance in their group will directly advance to the semifinals, whereas the 2nd and 3rd place teams will kick off their playoff run in the quarterfinal. All playoff matches follow a best-of-three format, with the grand final being the only exception, which is a best-of-five.
VCT Ascension Pacific 2023 Schedule: Dates, Times, and Teams
The event, taking place from June 28 to July 9, started the group stage on June 28, which will run until July 4. Three matches are held daily during the group stage, except on July 4, when only two matches are scheduled. The first match begins at 2 p.m. GMT+8, followed by the second series at 5 p.m. GMT+8, and the third match at 8 p.m. GMT+8.
The first day of the tournament saw the face-off between XERXIA Esports and ONE Team, NAOS Esports and Fancy United Esports, and SCARZ and Bonkers. The following days continue with fierce competition among the teams.
