Velocity Gaming announces partnership with AMD

Velocity Gaming, one of the leading names in Indian Valorant circuit, has announced a partnership with processors manufacturer AMD. This partnership will mutually aid both the parties with AMD earning a strategic spot on VLT’s jerseys and the organization receiving state-of-the-art equipment from AMD.

Velocity Gaming has established itself as a dominant esports organization in India with its Valorant roster leading the charts in multiple tournaments. They were inches closer to represent India at the VCT APAC Last Chance Qualifiers and have secured second spot in Valorant Conquerors Championship, the first official tournament hosted by Riot Games.

This partnership will equip the entire Velocity Gaming’s facilities with AMD equipment and help the players to bring out their best and perform at the highest level possible. The brand name will also be proudly boasted by the players alongside their organization name.

Manoj Kashyap, owner and founder of Velocity Gaming, also talked about this partnership. He stated, “We want our players to have the finest equipment at all times to put on their best performance. As the leading processor manufacturer globally, it was a no-brainer for us to partner with AMD.”

Gnana Shekar, the chief marketing officer of Skyesports and Sky Route shared his views on this partnership. He said, “While esports is growing at a staggering rate in India, such brand partnerships continue to be rare with most sponsors currently favoring advertising campaigns. We want to challenge the status quo and are thrilled to arrange this unique tie-up which will benefit both parties.”

Sky Route is a talent management agency falling under Skyesports and they manage Velocity Gaming.

Velocity Gaming entered Valorant esports when the game was in very early stages and their roster and made a name for itself since then. They recently signed an all-female team called VLT Asteria. This made VLT the first organization to have an all-female team in India.

VLT Asteria is also making a name for themselves as they won FSL Open Wildcard last month to qualify for the VCT 2021: Game Changers SEA FSL Elite.
