Velocity Gaming has qualified for Skyesports VALORANT SEA Championship in Thailand over Revenant Esports.
Anuj “Amaterasu” Sharma and his men locked their place at the Skyesports SEA Championship with a 2-0 victory over Revenant Esports, eliminating their regional combine with wins on Breeze and Bind. Saksham “Deadly10” Aurangabadkar and his heroics saved the day for VLT after playing a close half against Revenant in the first half of Bind.
This will be Saksham “Deadly10” Aurangabadkar’s first outing with the team ever since he was introduced to VLT’s active Valorant lineup. The team now travels to Thailand and will face the likes of Bleed Esports, Made in Thailand, and in the end, their regional counterparts, God Squad aka GE.
Skyesports SEA Championship will be an Off-season VCT event and will have $15,000 in prize money for the Champions. Here is a quick recap of the match-up between Velocity Gaming and Revenant Esports.

Map 1 : Breeze (Pick : VLT, Winner : VLT, Final Score : 13:1)
Breeze began with Debanjan “DEATHMAKER” Das double in the pistol round enabling Velocity Gaming to get off to a hot start. They raced to a 4-0 lead before Revenant’s Shailesh “blackhawk” Dalvi locked down the A-site to deliver the first for his team. But with no room for error, Velocity rose to prominence as they seemed to easily cruise towards the end of the first half 11-1 with blackhawk and Enrico “Ching” Perez denying Revenant their second.
Saaransh “Whimp” Dang and his troops looked destitute and listless as Velocity picked up their map pick, 13-1 in their favor to go 1-0 in the Best of the 3 decider.
Map 2 : Bind (Pick : Revenant, Winner : VLT, Final Score : 13-8)
Coming into Bind from the break, neither of the sides really took off and showed dominance. With constant back-and-forth rounds, the first half ended on a square and fair, 6-6. Then came Deadly10 in the second half who went berserk with his Raze pick, constantly poking around Revenant to make their lives miserable. Revenant managed to bag just 2 rounds in the second half before VLT hit the right spots to lock their berth at the Skyesports SEA Championship with a 13-8 victory.
If you never watched the match, the castors just couldn’t stop talking about how deadly Deadly10’s showstopper kills were on Bind.
Skyesports SEA Championship starts on November 23 with the initial match-ups yet to be determined by the organizers.
