In only a few days since its official release on October 29th, it appears like the source code for Ubisoft’s action-adventure game has already been leaked through online file-sharing sites.
According to a DSOGaming report, A recently uploaded post on the anonymous English-language imageboard website 4Chan suggests that almost 560 GBs worth of files containing the complete source code for Watch Dogs: Legion have been leaked online via several file-sharing websites. The claims were backed up by multiple screenshots of the allegedly leaked game files.

As of yet, it’s unclear what the leak may imply for the future of the game. While the alleged leak won’t affect your gameplay in any way, but it’ll undoubtedly make pirating the game a whole lot easier for hackers. Also, it can only be a matter of time before a plethora of mods, cheats, and hacks revolving around the title flood the internet.
A few months ago, the source code for games like Team Fortress 2 and Counter-Strike was leaked online, which sent the player base of both the games into a state of panic. A good number of players stopped playing the games altogether, due to the existent fear of making their computers vulnerable to hackers.
