Grand Theft Auto Online usually has a significant uptick throughout the holiday season. Many changes have been made to the game over the years, as a couple of them center around Christmas.
Everyone may have been surprised by Rockstar’s plenty of activities and quests, what with the impending release of a new Grand Theft Auto game.
As expected, Rockstar has delivered the upgrades fans have been requesting, defying expectations that the studio would focus on the upcoming game.
Despite the presence of other factors, the snow is the primary contributor to the seasonally festive atmosphere. The approach of winter, heralded by the first snowfall, is a surefire way to put a smile on any gamer’s face.
Rockstar has launched snow as one of the few temporary seasonal decorations in GTA Online. The season often lasts for a few days between Christmas and New Year’s. Even yet, the production company opted to keep the party going for a few more weeks.
Popular GTA data miners like Tez2 have added to the supposition, even though the game developer hasn’t made any official announcements about the end of the snow season.
In a press release dated December 29, 2022, Rockstar Games affirmed the continuation of the snow season, saying,
“The eggnog may have soured, but the rare Los Santos snowfall and holiday-themed festivities are still going strong in Southern San Andreas. Through January 11: take out The Gooch stalking the streets and receive The Gooch Mask.”
Until January 11, 2023, you can take part in all of the Festive Surprise events in GTA Online that are based around Christmas. The next day, Thursday, January 12, 2023, is likewise a significant day for weekly game updates because it is a Thursday.
Since the next weekly update isn’t due until January 12th, the snowy weather is expected to last until then.
