White House working with Twitch to promote Obamacare through gaming

The Obama-led White House administration is supposedly working with the game streaming giant Twitch, to host a gaming marathon which will be supporting Obamacare signups.

The games will be streamed live on Twitch from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM EST.

“We appreciate how the White House has recognized the power and passion of our community, Their desire to present the Competitive Gaming Event to promote health coverage enrollment exemplifies how they continue to have their hand on the pulse of the younger generation.” – Brian Petrocelli, Twitch’s Product Marketing Manager.

Citizens of the United States can apply for the health care through regular marketplaces which deal in insurance.

Among the major events taking place during the event are a Rocket League Pro-Am match featuring members of NRG esports. There will also be a Street Fighter V match between Justin Wong and Mike Ross.
