Brawl Stars recently announced that Ash has been taken out of the game following some issues. The character was introduced to the game in August 2021 during Season 8. Many players were disappointed to see their favourite character being taken out of the game. Let’s take a look and understand why was Ash removed from Brawl Stars.
In a post on Brawl Stars’ official X handle, it was announced that Ash will be disabled from the Duel game mode. The post read “Heads up, we have temporarily disabled Ash from being played in the Duels game mode, due to an issue where he would crash the game.” This meant that the character was removed from Duel mode only. However, this would change quickly as Brawl Stars replied to the own post and confirmed that “Ash has been disabled in all game modes until we fix this issue.”
We are yet to see any more updates from Brawl Stars. At the moment of writing, the character is still not available in the game in any of the modes. The removal Ash was done in response to some players complaining about being matched against an opponent with Ash, this would crash their game and the player would lose their trophies.
Supercell has asked players to be patient as they are currently working on a fix. Meanwhile, some players have been pleading to bring back their favorite character to the game. With that being said, the best we can do now is to wait for an official fix from the developers. I would rather have a stable game than having a bug causing character in the game.
