The co-owner of Windigo Maksym Bednarskyi announced that the Windigo Gaming are moving away from CSGO.
The most famous Bulgarian line-up in history won the WESG back in March, where they took home the $500000 prize money according to their co-founder. The organization are in their sophomore year in top-flight CSGO leagues and they haven’t received the payment form ESL Pro Leagues and another small tournament where they hoisted the trophy back in June other than WESG.
“We still didn’t get prize money from WESG—deadline for transfer was on Oct. 8,”. “WESG still didn’t reply, Alibaba representatives didn’t reply as well, without such big cashflow money we just can’t pay parts of prizes to players who are already part of other organizations,” said Maksym Bednarskyi.
The team switched to English based communication when WESG’s MVP, Georgi “SHiPZ” Grigorov Viktor “v1c7oR” Dyankov and Yanko “blocker” Panov left the Bulgarian side with Buğra “Calyx” Arkın and Ali “hAdji” Haïnouss replacing them in back in June. All of Windigo’s players and coaches aside from Valentin “poizon” Vasilev will be released from their contracts by tomorrow on 1st November. 1pv.fr reported that Complexity are looking for the Bulgarian AWPer to replace Shahzeb “ShahZaM” Khan who was benched on Oct. 28.
