Ubisoft has just rolled out the Y1S0.4 patch for XDefiant, addressing player concerns and enhancing the gameplay. Let’s check out all the major changes without wasting further time.
In response to community feedback, Ubisoft has made it easier to level up weapons and unlock essential attachments. The changes are retroactive, meaning your existing weapon levels will benefit from these adjustments:
- Primary Weapons: Now require only 3,000 XP to level up (previously 3,500).
- Secondary Weapons: The required XP has been reduced from 1,500 to 1,000.
This tweak ensures a smoother progression for players, allowing them to access attachments more efficiently. However, there’s a trade-off—Weapon Mastery skins (Bronze, Silver, and Gold) are now harder to unlock due to the faster attachment progression.
Ubisoft isn’t just about weapon balancing; they’ve also addressed other issues:
- MDR Firestorm Skin: The abnormal recoil issue with this skin has been reset to normal recoil.
- Character Models: A quirky bug that caused character models to stand bolt-upright after being killed has been removed.
Additionally, the patch includes quality-of-life improvements, such as netcode enhancements for better bullet registration.
Mark your calendars for July 2—the official start of XDefiant’s first proper season.
