Cloud9 on their Twitter have announced the addition of Erick “Xeppaa” Bach to their CS:GO division.
As earlier reported by TalkEsport and 1pv.fr, Xeppaa would now represent the Iconic North American Organization who would go on to fill the void previously left by the Turkish Sniper Özgür “woxic” Eker earlier this week.
The 20yo Prodigy along with his teammates were released by Chaos Esports Club in December 2020, after the “Ongoing Corona Pandemic” hindered the organization’s ability to support the team. At Chaos Xeppaa averaged with a 2.0 rating of 1.17 from a map win rate of 65.4% and had also steered his team to clinch the DreamHack Masters Winter 2020 North America title where they breezed past TeamOne in the BO5 Grand Finale.
In the announcement video, Xeppaa stated,
“My personal goal is to show that I can compete on a high level, especially against these top European teams. Our team goal is to win every event and do as well.”
Cloud’s general manager Henry “HenryG” Greer on Twitter revealed Xeppaa’s contract deal. The young guns will be staying on the team for the next three years starting this January, with his deal value to be $432,000 USD across his tenure. Xeppaa will be taking up the Entry-fragger role on Cloud9.
