Popular video game streamer Felix “xQc” Lengyel is no stranger to Twitch bans, and it seems like he has made it to the headlines once again after receiving his fifth ban from the streaming platform today.
This makes it the second Twitch ban that the 25-year-old has received within the span of a month.
The ban was initially reported by ‘StreamerBans’ on Twitter. However, the specific reason behind this ban is still unclear at the time of writing.
While the duration of the ban hasn’t been revealed, it’s highly likely that this is only a temporary ban.
Previously, the former Overwatch pro found himself banned from Twitch after he live streamed an event from the 2021 Tokyo Olympics on the platform. He later informed his fans about the status of his ban through a Tweet posted shortly afterwards. The July 29th ban lasted five hours before the star was unbanned from the platform.
Neither xQc nor Twitch has come up with a statement behind the reason for his August 14th ban. However, considering the insane popularity of xQc, he’s likely to be back before long.
