Canadian Twitch streamer Felix “xQc” Lengyel during his latest Twitch stream announced his signing with esports organization Luminosity Gaming as a content creator. Soon after the stream, Luminosity Gaming released a promo video on Twitter to officially announce the signing of xQc.
In the video, xQc can be seen wearing the official jersey of the organization while talking to his fans. In the same video Luminosity also announced the Rising Stars competition with a $100K sponsorship to be won.
Felix is extremely popular on Twitch with 3.6M followers and a concurrent viewership of more than 54K viewers monthly. Before joining Twitch as a full-time stream he used to play Overwatch Professionally have even played in teams like Denial and the Dallas Fuel. Since then he has solely shifted his focus on creating gaming content for entertainment.
While Felix used to be a professional Overwatch player, Luminosity Gaming has solely signed him to create content for them. While the organization only associates themselves with competitive games like League of Legends, Counter-Strike, and Call of Duty, they won’t force Felix to only stream those games. Luminosity Gaming also plans to have xQc be a judge on the upcoming second season of Twitch’s Rising Stars competition.
