Xyp9x and EliGE to head Counter-Strike Professional Players Association

Astralis’ Andreas “Xyp9x” Højsleth and Team Liquid’s Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski has been elected as chairman and vice-chairman, respectively, as announced by The Counter Strike Professional Players’ Association (CSPPA).

“I am very honored to have been chosen by my colleagues on the CSPPA board as the Chairman of the board. Excited to take on the tasks of helping that kid signing his first contract as well as making structural changes that benefit the players and the ecosystem of CS:GO as a whole,” said Xyp9x

CSPPA CEO Mads Øland has consented to take on a full-time job as CEO of CSPPA having already acted as the Director of the Danish Football Player’s Association. He brings over an experience of 23 years to his new permanent position in Esports.

Jonathan ‘EliGE’ Jablonowski added “I am proud to have been elected by the board to become Vice Chairman of the CSPPA board. Really enjoy working together with Mads Øland, Andreas ‘Xyp9x’ Højsleth and the CSPPA board”

The leading body of players includes Andreas ‘Xyp9x’ Højsleth, Jonathan ‘EliGE’ Jablonowski, Chris ‘chrisJ’ de Jong, Epitacio ‘TACO’ Pessoa, ‘tarik’ Celik, Nathan ‘NBK’ Schmitt and Jordan ‘n0thing’ Gilbert.
