Xyp9x Resumes Practicing With Astralis, To Return In BLAST Premier Fall Series

After a long break from competitive Counter-Strike, Andreas 'Xyp9x' Højsleth is about to make a return to the Astralis active roster.

Following a four-month-long break, Danish CSGO pro ‘Xyp9x’ is finally back in action.

The 25-year-old has already started practicing with the Astralis squad, but won’t be participating in the active roster of the team before late October.

His squadmates were sure to give him a warm welcome to the team. “Looking forward to going into tournaments with the clutch master,” Nicolai ‘dev1ce’ Reedtz said in a tweet.

Xyp9x will miss the upcoming DreamHack Open Fall 2020 but was selected by coach Danny ‘zonic’ Sørensen to be a part of the Astralis roster in the BLAST Premier Fall Series, which is set to begin from October 29th.

While the rest of the lineup for BLAST Premier Fall hasn’t been specified by Astralis as of yet, the much-anticipated return of Xyp9x to the squad after such a long break is certain to be met with excitement from fans of the Danish organization.
