YouTuber Happy Goldsmith’s invites controversy by attacking PM Modi caricature in GTA V

Happy Goldsmith, a Punjabi caster and Youtuber, sparked a big controversy after attacking a PM Modi lookalike character in GTA V.

Happy Goldsmith, a YouTube gaming content creator and Punjabi caster has come into the negative limelight by taking some controversial actions while playing GTA V on his stream.

In a clip uploaded by various media sites and publications, the moded version saw a character that resembled PM Modi and made some questionable remarks on it before attacking the character with a bat.

Although the video couldn’t be independently verified, it does appear that it is promoting unwarranted violence, to say the least. The act is highly condemnable and demands stern action against the individual.

Manpreet Singh, also known as Happy Goldsmith, is a 20-year-old popular gamer on YouTube with a fan following of close to 300,000 on his channel. He usually streams and uploads videos related to GTA V, Farmer Simulator, and Valorant.

He is well-known for his commentary and has also landed several event casting works in the past.

In one of his recent streams, he has sparked a big controversy by taking some questionable actions on a character who looked like PM Modi. He went on to hit that character with a bat in the end.

Happy Goldsmith was playing GTA V and stumbled upon a character who looked like PM Modi. He started commenting on the character and urged him to get out of the car. He was commenting in Punjabi language and it roughly translates to him asking PM Modi lookalike to come out of the car and he has something in his hand.

When the character comes out of the vehicle, he states that “the character has troubled him a lot” and goes on to attack him monstrously.

Mr. Singh was affiliated to Skyesports as one of their casters for Punjabi live streams and after this incident came into the limelight, Skyesports immediately announced that they have terminated all ties with the creator.

We at TalkEsport believe internet and gaming should be limited to promoting well-being and connecting with like-minded people across the globe. It should be recused from any sort of political commentary which threatens social harmony and promotes violence.
