The World of Warcraft streamer and content creator announced on 19th January that he’d be unable to stream for a few days, but had no additional info to share with his viewers.
Three days later, another Tweet came from the streamer’s side.”To all my viewers & mods asking constantly: my twitch suspension will expire on wednesday,” Ziqo said. “Don’t know more right now.”
When Nick ‘nmplol’ Polom – another popular WoW streamer – asked Ziqo if Twitch had clarified the reason behind his ban, the Cloud9 content creator replied that there was “zero transparency” from Twitch’s side regarding the issue. “I feel like a criminal, I have nightmares about it,” he said.
On January 25th, Ziqo posted a video on YouTube elaborating details on his suspension from the streaming platform. He revealed that Twitch had said that his ban was due to “using a hateful slur in a VOD” that fell under “hateful conduct.”
He further said that Twitch didn’t reveal any specific clip where he could be seen breaking the website’s TOS.
As mentioned earlier, the Twitch suspension of Ziqo will expire on Wednesday, 27th January.
